Credit Cards

Fred Rouse accepts the following payment options for online purchases:

An authorization hold in the total dollar amount of your order is placed on the payment method at the time of order placement, but you will not be charged until your order ships. If payment is not authorized or if the total dollar amount of your order exceeds your credit limit, you will receive a message on the checkout page to try another form of payment.

Please also note in the event that you wish to return an item, any orders paid for by PayPal or Apple Pay that are returned in store for refund can only be refunded to gift card.

Apple Pay is only available to US iOS customers shopping on the Rouse Club App or their compatible mobile device. To check out with Apple Pay, you need to link a credit card in Apply Pay before you check out or the option to use Apple Pay will not appear. We do not accept debit cards. Credit cards that are also debit cards can be used, but the payment will be processed as a credit card transaction.

Taxes

Sales tax and/or goods and services tax, as applicable (individually and collectively referred to herein as “sales tax”) is calculated based on applicable federal and provincial tax laws. Typically, sales tax displayed during checkout is estimated until the order has shipped. Sales tax may also be applied to shipping fees. We do not charge sales tax on the purchase of gift cards, but items paid for with gift cards are subject to taxation.

Our website does participate in tax-free holidays.

Gift Cards and E-Gift Cards

Play your cards right: a Fred Rouse gift card is guaranteed to delight. Choose between a classic gift card and an e-gift card. Classic gift cards are subject to the same shipping policies as other Fred Rouse merchandised purchased on the website, while e-gift cards are emailed the same day and ready to use within 24 hours.

You may check the balance of your Fred Rouse Classic Gift Card or your Fred Rouse E-Gift Card (each referred to herein as a “Gift Card”) at any time by visiting a participating Fred Rouse retail store. You will need your Gift Card number and PIN (located under the scratch-off box on the back of the card) to retrieve your card balance.

GIFT CARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS

For cards purchased on michaelkors.com:

Your purchase or use of a Gift Card constitutes your acceptance of the following terms and conditions: Fred Rouse Classic Gift Cards and Fred Rouse E-Gift Cards purchased in the United States and at www.fredrouse.com will not expire. Fred Rouse Gift Cards are redeemable for merchandise at any Fred Rouse freestanding store in the United States, Canada and at any participating, freestanding non-U.S. Fred Rouse stores, and at www.fredrouse.com, and any participating, official Fred Rouse website (subject to the website’s Shipping Policy and other policies). Gift Cards should be presented at the time of purchase and may not be redeemed for cash, except were required by law. You may also be required to provide your PIN when redeeming a Fred Rouse E-Gift Card. Gift Cards will not be replaced if lost or stolen, except where required by law. Treat your Gift Card like cash. GIFT CARD FAQs

Is there a maximum dollar value on a Fred Rouse Gift Card?

The total Gift Card amount cannot exceed $2,000.00 per card or $10,000.00 per order.

Can I purchase Gift Cards using a Gift Card?

At this time, we do not allow Gift Cards to be purchased using another Gift Card as payment.

Will my purchase of a Gift Card be taxed?

Sales tax will not be applied to purchases of Gift Cards at www.fredrouse.com- Fred Rouse Home Page. If other merchandise is included in your order, tax will apply only to those items.

Will I be able to apply any coupons or promotions to a purchase of a Gift Card?

Generally, coupons, discounts and other promotions cannot be applied to the purchase of Gift Cards.

Are Fred Rouse Gift Card subject to the same shipping and returns policies as other merchandise purchased on www.fredrouse.com?

Shipping of Fred Rouse Classic Gift Cards is subject to the same shipping policies as other Fred Rouse merchandise purchased at www.fredrouse.com- Fred Rouse Home Page.

For Fred Rouse E-Gift Cards, if you elect to receive a copy via email of the E-Gift Card you sent to someone else, you will receive a confirmation email once the e-Gift Card is sent via email to its intended recipient. In general, the E-Gift Card is sent via email to the recipient once your online order with us is placed. Fred Rouse will not be responsible for delivery of the Fred Rouse E-Gift Card to an incorrect yet deliverable email address, or to a nonexistent email address, as provided by the purchaser.

The standard Fred Rouse Return Policy applies to any products purchased with a Fred Rouse Gift Card, but Gift Cards themselves may not be returned. Refunds of purchases made with your Gift Card will be placed back on the card or on a new card.

How do I use my Classic Gift Card to make purchases at www.fredrouse.com?

To apply the balance of a Gift Card to an online purchase at www.fredrouse.com simply enter the gift card number and PIN in the appropriate fields in the payment stage of our checkout process. On a Fred Rouse Classic Gift Card, the gift card number and the PIN are on the back of the physical card. The gift card number and the PIN for a Fred Rouse E-Gift Card can be found in the copy of the E-Gift Card sent via email to the recipient.

How do I use my e-Gift Card in a Fred Rouse store?

To redeem a Fred rouse E-Gift Card at a participating Fred Rouse retail store, print out the Fred Rouse E-Gift Card email and present it at the time of purchase. Please ensure that your print-out includes a barcode, the gift card number and the PIN (or that you know the PIN) at the time of the purchase.

Can I use both a Gift Card and a credit card to pay for an order?

If you are using both a Gift Card and a credit card to pay for an order, the full Gift Card value will be deducted first, and then the balance will be paid using your credit card. For online returns only, if you are returning any item that was in whole or in part paid for using a Gift Card, the amount contributed to the payment via Gift Card will be credited to you via a new E-Gift Card.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING REDEEMABILITY OF FRED ROUSE GIFT CARDS:

All Fred Rouse Gift Cards may be redeemed online at www.fredrouse.com or at any other participating, official Fred Rouse website, subject to the website’s Shipping Policy and other policies, and all Fred Rouse Gift Cards purchased in the United States and at www.fredrouse.com will not expire, even if the terms on the card state otherwise.

*Fred Rouse Gift Cards are not accepted in any Fred Rouse travel retail stores, such as airports and cruise ships.

Important Note About Pricing

Prices of products listed on our website are subject to change without notice. We do our best to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions we discover. We have the right to revoke any stated offer, including after an order has been submitted and your payment method charged. If your payment method has already been charged for the purchase and we elect to cancel your order, we will issue a credit to your payment account(s) in the amounts of the charge. For credit cards, individual bank policies will dictate when this amount is credited to your account.
