Our Story
Mr. Rouse was brutally attacked and lynched by a mob of strikers on Dec. 11, 1921, in Fort Worth Texas. He was severely beaten, shot, stabbed, and ultimately hung from a hackberry tree.
In our logo pattern, we added hackberry leaves to honor and remember the life of not only Mr. Rouse, but of everyone who was lynched or experienced the tragedies of racial terror violence.
When you wear the Fred Rouse brand, you’re not just wearing a luxury brand that looks nice or is worldly popular, but you are wearing a brand that symbolizes history, a brand that gives voice to the voiceless, and a brand that screams… “You are not forgotten!”
